Bill “the original libertarian” Weld was willing to vouch for the woman (Hillary Clinton) who sold off 20% of American uranium production to Russia’s state-owned uranium consortium, Rosatom. Even the New York Times, otherwise in that woman’s back pocket, was willing to cover the Rosatom deal. And Weld was vouching for her while he was nominally running against her on a competing ticket.
