So one of the “brightest stars” in the drive to “move the ball down the field towards liberty and enable the cultural shifts that allow for a touch down” is a guy with a track record of moving the ball away from liberty, at least where the Second Amendment is concerned?
Last time I checked, running the ball towards your own end zone isn’t considered a good plan. Granted, I’ve no use for the NFL, but when I do watch, I don’t see anyone doing that sort of thing.

Elisheva’s misgivings about Gary started when Gary said that Jews should be forced to bake cakes for Nazis in the first televised debate on Stossel. Afterwards, Gary made a speech at UNM where she told him to his face “I will go to jail before I bake a cake for a Nazi.” Gary’s endorsement of Weld seems to be the final straw.

As for myself, I will withhold support for Weld until I see that Weld has publicly and explicitly renounced his prior support for more restrictions upon the right of individuals to own and carry weapons. That renunciation should also specify a penalty clause should Weld then support victim disarmament again after issuing that renunciation.

Is this the same William Weld who thinks that the individual right to own and carry weapons should be turned via legislation into a State-granted privilege?
Is he ever going to get the shock of his life when he shows up in Orlando and sees delegates carrying sidearms.

Ah OK.
Has Weld ever renounced his prior support for more restrictions upon the individual right to own and carry weapons?
