Anyone who truly believes that “synthetic = bad” is free to strip all of the synthetic plastic insulation from the wiring in their home and car.

Disagree with it all you want. Can you refute it?

I’ll save you the trouble, and include evidence to support my point:

Obamacare was a copy and paste job from Massachusetts Romneycare. This point was offered up by Jon Gruber, the MIT economics professor who helped Romney in 2006 with Romneycare, then assisted Obama in 2009 / 2010 with Obamacare. When Romney tried to differentiate Romneycare from Obamacare, Gruber got pissed and said “They’re the same fucking thing.”

In 1994, when Romney ran for U.S. Senate against Ted Kennedy, he went on TV talking about how he was “no friend of the NRA.” In 2004, he signed an “assault weapon” ban into the Massachusetts state statutes. It wasn’t until he decided to run for president that he decided to get right with the Second Amendment.

So no, I’m NOT going to say nice things about Romney. He made the welfare state more expensive, the regulatory state more intrusive, when he didn’t have to.

Part of me wants T.rump to go hog-wild and burn the GOP to the ground. At least then, I won’t have Republicans calling me a traitor when I refuse to support their candidates.

Romney’s position on health care, as he stated in the first televised debate, was to repeal and replace Obamacare “with what we did in Massachusetts.” Classic bait and switch, only a significant fraction of the GOP didn’t fall for it.

    From 2006

Here’s the clips where Slick Willard thanks Jon Gruber for helping with Romneycare, with Ted Kennedy on the stage. So much for Romney “vetoing” the plan.

Here Romney talks with Neil Cavuto about the plan.

From 1994, when Romney ran for U.S. Senate against Ted Kennedy:
