Try this:

I just changed the group settings from “private” to “open” — kind of new to MeWe myself.

Robot Chicken did a parody of Watership Down, only without the happy ending (the Fraggles stop underneath an oil well as it starts drilling).

Just sent you an invitation, Kent.
For what it’s worth, I’m also on Diaspora*, Ello, Synereo, and tsu:

I dunno. MeWe is a bit on the clunky side.

Just don’t build your “Earthship” in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, or Santa Fe, or the local zoning board and code enforcement will come down on you like a dumptruck full of bricks.

So per Ezell, Wooley and Cook, crony mercantilism is just peachy so long as it’s out-of-towners getting fleeced, and their sponsors are doing the fleecing?
So much for free-market principles when they become inconvenient.

Small-l libertarians are people who agree with and stick to the Non-Aggression Principle. They may or may not be members of the Libertarian Party.
Big-L Libertarians are people who have a Libertarian Party membership card in their pocket.
Some of my friends (on FB and elsewhere) are small-l but not Big L, for various reasons.
On the flip side, bad things happen when people are given positions in the Big L club without being vetted to make sure that they’re at least small-l libertarians. Example — the One Who Shall Not Be Named (CentCom members from the 2009-2011 time frame know who I’m referring to here).
