This sorry excuse for an article lost me at the last sentence of the first paragraph:
“But whether or not you have cable, theres no way to escape the current American cultural juggernaut that is A&Es ‘reality-based’ show ‘Duck Dynasty.'”
Really? Is that truly the case, Mr. Ruminski? “Duck Dynasty” just pops onto my TV screen and forces me to watch? Hasn’t happened yet.
But then, I’ve also never seen an episode of “Breaking Bad,” either — another “unescapable” “cultural phenomenon.” Despite the fact that I live in the city where most if not all of the episodes were shot and set in.
And no, I will probably not grow a beard, for the simple reason that it will look like shit on me.
